Hi,
I am experiencing following problem in my job. I work with SAP and I often need to export data from SAP into excel and to work with this data in excel using macros.
unfortunately, there is a problem with format and numbers.
if there is a value let's say 12 333 in SAP then after exporting into excel this will appear in a cell: 12.333 (there is a dot in the number). usually I can use a macro to replace the dot by "" (nothing) and it is fine.
but sometimes the value 12 333 in SAP will be 12.333,000 in excel and after replacing the dot by "" this will appear in the cell: 12 333 000. (three additional zeros).
another problem is that if I export data to excel and then open the workbook by a macro the exported value 12.333 will suddenly change into 12,333 and I am not able to get rid of the comma...
I simply can not work with data exported from SAP because of these dots and commas... do you have any suggestions what to do?
thanks!
