    Hyperlink Question

    Hi,
    Just wondering if what I'm trying to do is possible.

    I am trying to hyperlink all Worksheet2 A cells to worksheet1 A cells according to their row number.

    I have tried to create a Hyperlink in A1 and drag it down but what happens is that hyperlink links to same cell adn doesnt change cell number whilst dragging.

    Am I making any sence here?

    Manual linking isnt very practical as I have 2000 rows to link up

    Thanks

    Re: Hyperlink Question

    have you tried
    =HYPERLINK("#"&CELL("address",Sheet1!A1),Sheet1!A1)
    or
    =HYPERLINK("#"&CELL("address",Sheet1!A1),"my link to sheet1 A"&ROW())

    Re: Hyperlink Question

    All cells in question are already assigned a formula, can you assign multiple ones to a cell?

    Re: Hyperlink Question

    Well you could say
    =SUM($B$1:$B$9)&" "&HYPERLINK("#"&CELL("address",Sheet2!A1),"my link to sheet1 A"&ROW())
    but it looks odd
    but =SUM($B$1:$B$9)&HYPERLINK("#"&CELL("address",Sheet1!A1),"") looks similar to insert/hyperlink
    oops never tried them first
    neither work as i expected sorry
    i think you'd just have to use an adjacent column

    Re: Hyperlink Question

    Thanks for your help,

    I have used next column for linking and it worked a treat.
