Alt F11 ...

You first should have an active workbook open.
Pressing Alt + F11 keys will open the Visual Basic Editor, probably without the code pane in view, so you may need to click View > Code in the menu.
You may also open the VBE directly into a sheet module by right-clicking on the sheet tab and choosing View Code.
The Sheet Module and Workbook modules, once in the VBE are accessed by double-clicking the sheet name or "Thisworkbook" in the Project Explorer window. If this is not visible, from the menu click View > Project Explorer.
"Normal module" is a standard module (not a Class Module), which will have to be inserted manually by going to Insert > Module in the menu. If you record a macro, Excel will automatically create a standard module to hold the recorded code.
