Conditional formatting of tabs (sheets) in a workbook.

    Hello.

I would like to format the tabs or sheets in my workbook so that they display a certain color based on the value of a cell. In my case the tab color will be based on cell F4, which is displayed as a percent. If F4 is less than 0% then the tab should be colored red. And if cell F4 is greater than 0% then the tab should be colored green. From what I have read, this can only be done using VB.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

    Hi,

The easiest way would be to record a macro to colour the tab then you'll see the syntax. However if it helps try:

    ActiveWorkbook.Sheets("Sheet1").Tab.ThemeColor = xlThemeColorAccent2
changing the colour index value 2 as appropriate.
