Display pictures based on cell?

I want the pictures I have to display themselves when the value in cell 'X' is match their own value and that cell is a drop-down list,too.

I'd tried something like Conditional Format which there is no Rule for displaying picture if "a formula is TRUE" or something like that. I had done some searching and found this http://www.ozgrid.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62575 which is pretty clear describing on making a Conditional Graphic, but I failed on doing that.

The example given in the link above is really similar to what I want to do. It made use of Macros and would probably called 'Event Macros' in my case. But, I must admid I don't know anything about Macros or VSB and don't understand anything that is saying in the link above.

It's an X-Y scatter chart but replaced Data Range with pictures, that's what I think it is.

So, any idea on my problem. You could guide me with some topic explaining about Macros or describe some solution to me in detail.
