Insert Row Hot Key

Is there a hot key to insert an entire row?

I have seen a couple people post that there were, but I tried them with no luck.

So, if there is no hot key, how do I create one. I'm new to VBA. Please go easy on me.

I'd like to use the ALT and , as my hot key.

To clarify, if I have on row selected and hit ALT and , I want it to add one entire row. If I have three rows selected and hit ALT and , I want it to add three entire rows.

This depends on what version of Excel you are using.
Help with "keyboard shortcut" should give guidance.

I'm using 2003 at work, but it would be useful for 2007 at my other job as well.

Ok, I found the control shift + to do what I'm talking about. It's a very awkward position to keep my hand in though. How can I change it to alt , ?

In 2003, Tools>Customize is where that's controled. I don't know where it is in 2007

I went there already and it's grayed out.

I use Excel 2004 and I have a hot key set up to Insert > Cells...
I don't know why that is greyed out in your version.
