Which form tool ?

In a programme, the user is to select a date for despatch, anywhere from the 1st to the 31st (literally, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc) for inclusion in a cell (that will be in a printed letter).
Could a spin button achieve this, or is there another way ?
How could it be coded for whichever tool ?
I think it goes without saying - I'm a noob !

You can add an ActiveX calendar, but this can have problems if the control is not available on the user's machine. Take a aloo at the UserForm calendar example in the datepicker secion here
