Error &H8000FFFF in Excel and Word

    Hi,
I am using office 2007 with macro's embedded into my files in such a way that it is recognized as an add in. When I open a word doc or an Excel doc I get the following error &H8000FFFF and I then get another pop window stating that there was an error in a hidden module CmdBar with excel. I get the same error but the second pop up window states out of memory error. These macro's were working and have started failing just recently. I tried to uninstall office 2007 and re-install and the failures still persist with the docs that I am using. I assumed that if i uninstalled office an re-installed that all the links to the macro's would be erased, it appears as though this is not the case. Is there something else that I should do to insure that office has been completely removed from the system? Also is there any corrective plans on the failure mechanisms that I am seeing?
    Thanks

Do these documents and excel files work on another computer? Can you post the code or an example excel file?

Yes the files work on other systems. Unfortunately the code is locked by the author and is used with in my company, therefore, I can not post the code.

Sounds like you need to talk to the code author.
