Smile "save as" with path and file name in cells

    Hey guys,

I'm kind of new to writing macros and things have been going fine so far, but I've hit a problem that the internet doesn't seem to help me out with, so hopefully someone here has the knowledge!

I want to save a file as a cell-defined name to an area which is also cell define. For example, save as:

    J:\Reports\F4\G10.xls

Where F4 and G10 are obviously cell references.

I can get it to save as the text in G10 to its current location, but I've no idea how to go about changing the F4 section.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks,

    Jaff

Re: A "save as" help request

    Hi jaffman,

welcome to the forum. However, I'm afraid ...

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

I will adjust the title for you this once, but in the future, please come up with a more descriptive title yourself, avoiding terms like "help" or "request", which add nothing of value to the title.

    cheers
