Search for a File using Wildcards

I'm having trouble with the code working if I try this slight variant:

Basically I want to search for a file that contains specific characters not just a file type. Please note that this is for Excel 2003.

You mean you want to search for all files with *in. in the title whether they are text files or not? Try:

Always put your code between code tags.
your code here
That does not work either. The problem I think I am having is by having characters after the asterisk the function Filename takes it as a string rather than a wild card indicator.

As a note I do want to limit the file type but any file type ".txt" with "in.txt" in it should be found.
