I want my spreadsheet of customer project info, to allow me to click on a button on my custom ribbon group and have Excel pop-up the contact's Outlook card (so I can email or call them using phone dialer).
I have come across lots of ideas for emailing from Excel, and even creating a task or a calendar event, so I would think it would be very similar to that, but I am not smart enough with VBA to figure it out on my own.
I'm not asking anyone to write this code for me, but if you've done this before would you please share your code here? Thank you!
By the way, I am using Office 2007, and Visual Ribbon Editor (and I have that part figured out).
Alternatively, I was thinking about have an "email", "cell" and "office" button that would still bring up the card, but would automate the process further and go directly to an email dialogue box or make the appropriate call to their phone.
