    Require to revoke beginning hyphen

    HI GURUS,

    Please help

I am facing problem of hyphen, it is at beginning (random) of all cells. Right now I am using formula =SUBSTITUTE (TARGET CELL,CHAR(160)," ")+0.

There is any other solution to convert data in easy way.

Sample sheet is attached here for your reference test 0.99.xls

    Thank You,

    Amar K

Re: Require to revoke beginning hyphen

    HI Debraj

Thanks for your reply. I didn’t set any password to file.

New copy of the same was uploaded as test. 0.999.

Require removing hyphen coz, I can’t use this type of material at formula level, and pivot.

    Thanks

Re: Require to revoke beginning hyphen

Select Column.. and use Text to Column..

    Next Next Finish..

Will work the same as REMOVING NBSP non-visible space.. which is Char(160)

Re: Require to revoke beginning hyphen

    Thanks Bebraj,

It was worked very well. But I have more than 19 columns and the interval of date to execute and restructure twice in a week.

As Microsoft excel will not allow to convert multiple column, it will take time to routinze the data.

    Thanks for sharing valuable information.

If any other shortcuts to do this please revert.
