    ItemCount with VBA

    Hello Experts,

I have a series of status in a column say D like "Completed" "WIP" ETC..
I have the items in Column A.

I need the count for the number of items which has the status "Completed".
The count value should be displayed in the range say "A1"

*** I knew its very easy to go by filter method to count, but my requirement is different. Thats the reason i am trying for a macro.

Can anybody find the code please?

Countif does not satisfy my requirement.

Data is huge and i need the count values to be dispalyed in a particular cell.
For example, if the count for the mentioned status "Completed" is 110, i need this value in the particular cell by running a macro.

    Poor dead horse!

    Frequent pastime on this Forum

No VBA macro will be as efficient as a regular ExcelFunction
