Match each cell in a columns background/text colour to that of another cell?

Hi guys,

Forgive me if this is the wrong section..

I have a spreadsheet that does the following:

Cell A75 totals all of the cells above is (SUM) and displays this value.
This cell has conditional formatting so that if the cell is less than a certain value, it has a certain background/font colour, and if it is above a certain value, it has another background/font colour.

I would like for all cells above A75 (A74,A73 etc etc) to change to match the conditional formatted colour of Cell A75.

Is the possible?

To make matters more difficult, I have 18 rows that I need to do this too.

Many thanks for anybody who can point me in the right direction.

It would be an idea to outline the Conditional Formatting logic applied to A75

In theory all you need do is replicate that logic (whatever it may be) on the other cells, eg:

A57:A74: Conditional Formula rule(s) of:

=A$75>0
format Green

=A$75<0
format Red

etc...

Ahh - Didnt realise I could set conditional formatting of fields based upon OTHER fields...

Will try that and report back
