    Cool Data Validation Assistance Please

Is there a way to use Data Validation that will pull data from a source list and also be able to type in additional data or just new data in same cell?

    1) Data Validation does pull data from a source list when the validation type is set to "List" and you enter a SOURCE:

    2) When creating the DV parameters, click on the Error Alert tab and and uncheck the [ ] show error alert message
