    What is funcres.xla?

When I go to VB on my workbook, I see funcres.xla in the project box. When I click on it, it asks for a password. What is this and what should I do, if anything?

It' the Analysis ToolPak add-in. It provides you with some more Excel functionality, like formulas and automation for certain types of charts (histograms, for example).

The code behind the Analysis ToolPak is of course Microsoft's own, so they'll protect it with a password.

    Does that answer your question?
