    internet clock displayed in Excel

Is there a way to get the current date and time from a website and display it in Excel?

I'm trying to create a clock in/clock out spreadsheet for my employees and I want to use a clock which they can't manipulate.

I'm guessing the OP has a network-served timesheet and wants to prevent employees from setting the time back on their PCs before they open it.

Re: internet clock displayed in Excel

My company has several different work sites and the computers are not networked. I have created a workbook that works well as a clock in/out device. The only weakness is that it relies on the clock of individual computers which obviously can be changed prior to clocking in and out. If there is a way to direct Excel to use the date and time from a website then it's good to go.
