    Conditional formatting and match function

    Hi,

Can someone please help me write a code that will see if a cell is interior color is 24 and is blank or null or just doesn't have text. Then the cell below it will be interior color 19.

    Thank you so much.

Palmetto, I copy and pasted your code in and changed it a little:

    But it didn't work.
I understand you coding and it should work, there is no error message but I'm wondering if we gotta loop it to check every cell in all the worksheets.

    Thank you

First: you need to refresh yourself on the Forum Rules regarding use of code tags for VBA. Anytime VBA code is shown in the forum you are required to wrap the code in code tags. Please amedn your post to comply with the rules. Thanks.

Highlight all of the VBA code then press the # button to apply code tags.

Since your inital post is lacking in details, my code was only an example to get you started. Post a sample workbook (non-sensitive, dummy data if necessary), so we can see the structure. Clarify any details about the desired results so we are very clear on the exact solution needed.

Sorry about that...the guy who wrote these codes was not able to finish it and I've never ever worked with macros before.

I paste the code suggested in this context:

to replace what he had, which didn't work for all the tables:

I've also attached the excel workbook, you can find the code in the readmas module.

I hope this helps to clarify things...thank you so much.
