master list, input list - copy non matches to next free row

    hi guys,

    I have 3 worksheets,

    1.mylist
    2.master
    3.outcome

I want to be able to put names into column A of 'mylist' and for column D & E to be searched (exact value) in 'Master' and if a match is not found for the cell in column A in 'mylist' to be copied to 'outcome'.

The catch though is that the code would have to do the following also before it can copy it.

    1. find the last line used in 'outcome' and create a heading (only once) called 'not found in master list'.. reason being is there is other data in the work sheet that can change.

    2. copy the cell that wasnt found below the above said heading... there may be 20, or 50 non matches.

    thanks guys,

    C

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!

    Nw's

I just thought of an easy way.
Just need the to use the search data in 'mylist' WS (column A only) and check if it is in either Column D or E in 'Findings' WS.

if it isnt either 1 of them then to output as per the attachment (with heading as per attachment)
