Search many workbooks

Hi everybody in this group.

I have hundreds of workbooks and every workbook has many sheets containing contracting rates of different companies, and name of companies are mentioned in cell C7 of every sheet.

whenever i need to find any contract of any company i have to search in many workbooks.

So, Iam looking for VBA to make search only in C7 of all sheets, of all workbooks, in that specific folder.

and result should be by, showing list of "filename" and "Date created" and by clicking the file name it should open that particular SHEET.

Doesn't answer your immediate question, but why not store the data in one workbook and save yourself a lot of bother?
