Unique Macro Needed to Open Application

I've created a "desktop" of shortcuts/hyperlinks for our team in Excel but one I can't figure out is how to open an application that resides here "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Application Virtualization Client\sfttray.exe" /launch "Shift Reporting 2011.5.0.1291" on each of our PC's. As an alternative, if I had a macro that would simply open the Start>Search Programs and Files>(type "Shift Reporting") ...at least the icon appears for them to click on.

How about something like this… I have use this in the past to open programs

(I am unable to test it because I do not have that software on my pc)

If that doesn’t work I may have placed too many quotes on there… if it doesn’t work please re-post the path and call in code tags with the quotes only where they appear in the path and call. You can get to the code tag by clicking on the #

Fast response Meabrams! Greatly appreciated!!!!! I've never posted a question to a forum before so I'm very impressed with this site. I'm pretty green with VBA with no formal training, so I'm a little lost on what you're asking. But, I did find the # sign and I assumed you wanted it to call out the properties address. (below) ...hope that's what you wanted. And I tried various configurations with the quotes but it rejected them (with red text), except for removing most of the quotes... but it didn't work either.

Does the macro I posted work to open then program in question or do I need to rework it in order to force this to work for you.. See if attached file opens the program by clicking on the big green button
