    Help in importing certain data

Hi guys/girls, new here. I really need your help.

I know a lot of stuff in Excel, but have never used macros, excep SUM function.
So i need your help on this:

Soon, a mobile provider, on whom we shall make contract with, will send us a list of mobile phones, and how much users used them in terms of money. And it will be in excel format.

    Examp:
    ......................A...................................B
    1 .......0134367890(cell number) 134(money)

I wish to create an excel file, which will contain names of users and their mobile numbers, and all I want to do is, that this excel file, which I will create, can read external excel file(provided by mobile operator) where my excel file reads pricing according to mobile number provided, and puts them in certain places, where in the end it will calculate pricing for every user.

    Thnx.

    re: importing certain data

Ok, I will rephrase myself, in hope to be more accurate. :D

Source excel file, from mobile provider, consists of mobile numbers and prices (how much user of mobile phone/s have spent).
    Column A(phone numbers), column B(pricing)

Destination file(created by me) consists of user names/surnames, their mobile numbers, and pricing.
Column A(names/surnames sorted alphabetically), column B(phone numbers), column C(pricing), column D(sum, if user has more phone numbers than one)

Now, what I want is something like this:

    Destination file:

Column A1,2,3...... has name/surname, column B1,2,3..... has phone numbers, column C1,2,3 is empty(this is where pricing will be putted from source file).
Now, I want phone numbers from destination file to query column A from source file. for example, if mobile phone number, on destination file, is on column B1 and matching/queried number on source file is on column A134, column B1(destination) will also read pricing on column B134 and write it on column C1 on destination file.

    Re: importing certain data

I assume when you say Column A134, Column B134, you mean Row 134

The trouble I am having with your examples are that there are a lot of unanswered questions. Like

Why do you need a macro to do this? You can use the =vlookup( ) function to bring the information in from your source sheet and then copy/paste the =vlookup( ) function with the actual data. Is that what you want?

Maybe the source file changes every month? - I have no idea.
