TRIM, LEFT and other excel formula functions in VB

    Good morning all,

A quick question for you all, I am importing data from one sheet into a template document but want to perform some functions on it as it comes in. For example TRIM(X) on one column and LEFT (X, LEN(X)-4) on another. I could do this by adding extra columns then copy & paste - special then delete the columns but I was wondering if these kind of things could be done from VB?

    Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, so it appears that Trim works as is, I assume I can work out LEFT for myself too, sorry to bother y'all!
