Re: Plotting multiple series in one chart using macro

Thank you so much .... it's working perfectly !!!

How do I make the graph in a new sheet instead of the same sheet? Is there a command to rename the new sheet with a certain cell?

    Thanks

To create a chart sheet use

Please Login or Register to view this content.
The chart has a location property if you want to move between chartsheet and object on sheet.

Re: Plotting multiple series in one chart using macro

I modified the code a little bit such that I have a fixed range for the X values like this picture

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4223477/Personal/Series2.jpg

This is my code ... there is a problem in defining the X values. I tried to add ActiveSheet before the .XValues but it didn't work

Your post does not comply with Rule 3 of our Forum RULES. Use code tags around code. Posting code without them makes your code hard to read and difficult to be copied for testing. Highlight your code and click the # at the top of your post window. For more information about these and other tags, found here

Adding the activesheet will not help as the chart is the active sheet.
You need to set a reference before you add the chart

I used the macro in your second post, too. Worked perfectly, thank you!
