Conditional Formating based on the fill color of a cell

I have searched high and low for an answer to this and I'm beginning to think it can't be done.

I am trying to format a cell fill color based on another cell's fill color. Simple right...?

    Any help would be appreciated.

You could do it with vba and the worksheet's selection change event. Would that be acceptable to you?
Is your code running too slowly?
Does your workbook or database have a bunch of duplicate pieces of data?
Have a look at this article to learn the best ways to set up your projects.
It will save both time and effort in the long run!
