sumif Function excel 2010

Hey all below is a spreadsheet,

In another spreadsheet in the same document i have to calculate the total sales per car category, im having some trouble with the sumif function.\

coccoster, welcome to the forum.

Please use the forum's functionality to upload files. If you want help with pictures, post pictures, but if you want help with Excel, it might be a good idea to post an Excel file. Nobody here is keen on retyping your data to test a suggested solution.

Why not use a Pivot Table - see the link in my sig. for a general intro.

For info on SUMIF / SUMIFS etc see XL Help or provide some more info. - better yet a small sample file* ?

*if the site is allowing this - the owners are inexplicably testing on a live environment presently so things aren't working quite as they should.

Need to use SUMIF function, its what i have been told to do for a piece of work for Uni. Ill submit a file now.

Ok in the file above. In the processing totals worksheet i need to calculate Total Sale, Commission, Purchase Price etc, the information is from the Processing tab.
