Adding intelligence to data validations

Does anyone know how I can add intelligence to a data validation? I'm currently using a giant list of all of the names of the people in my company on an input sheet using a data validation, and I'd like to add intelligence to that.

Ideally, I'd like the spreadsheet to suggest names based on what the person has typed into the cell. For example, If they type "Mic," Michael Brown will pop up, as will Michelle Jacobs, etc. This way the full spelling doesn't have to be known and the entire list doesn't have to be scanned.

As I understood u want something like autocomplete option.. so in this case I advise to use Activex Control - Combobox.... see attached
Just type inside the combo desired name... and u'll get outputs...
