Running SAS Queries VBA Excel VBA code?

Hi all,

I wanted to poke around the heads of your VBA gurus to find out if it would be possible to run SAS code via excel vba?

Ive done a number of google searches but keep getting SAS to Excel information, when im looking for Excel to SAS.

The codes are all pre-written and at most require no or only modest ajustments (dates etc).

Is it possible to interface with SAS the same way you can interface with business objects?

I currently have a model that can run many BO reports, ajust variables then save them down, but i wanted to see if i could do the same with SAS.

But anyway, done some trial and error and managed to get SAS to open via excel.

What im attemping to do now is open a SAS query (premade), then run it.

An example with and one without variables to pass along would be awesome..

I assumed it would be something like this,
