Hi,

I have 100 rows of data, each with 7 random characters in them (1 character per cell, i.e. A1:G1, A2:G2....A100:G100 etc) I need to identify which characters appear together in the same rows as each other most often, in pairs.

Can anyone help please?!

Why not attach a sample workbook including desired results?

Ok, please see attached. I need to identify the most frequent pair of numbers that appear together in the same row, out of the 104 rows in the sheet.

Do you know what the answer should be? I have done something, and made it 02 and 34. Will post shortly.

This code lists all the combinations in descending order. I have to make clear that I have mostly adjusted someone else's code (bit out of my league), and only the last macro is mine. See attachment
