I am trying to create a task management workbook where there is a master, but others can have the same workbook. I am only interested in the data in the first sheet. I want to take the data from that first sheet in the workbook and append it to the data in the first sheet of the master.
Ideally you could have the master workbook open, run the macro that asks you where and what the file name of the workbook you want to append to the master. It takes the data from the first sheet of that workbook(values only) and appends it to the master workbook (first sheet). In an even more perfect world, it would look for duplicates in the data to be appended and discard. It would also renumber the new appended entries based on where the master sheet left off (if my last item is 10 in the master sheet, then the next item to be appended would be 11). The sheet being appended will also have the items appended. I need this to be idiot proof.
I've attached the workbook... Again, this workbook could be the master and/or the one to be appended to the master.
I am still learning VB so my query may seem uneducated, but any help would be appreciated.
