VBA Creating DataLabel Deleting DataLabel Testing if DataLabel is attached to Point

I am creating DataTags on the most recent data point:

However, it leaves the datalabel that was created previously attached to a previous data point.

I tried:

However, sometimes this debugs.

Is there anyway to delete all data labels on a chart before adding new ones or to test if a particular data point has a datalabel attached to it?
