    Macro to increase ID#

    Hi,

I'm trying to create a macro that when clicked, will add a new row to the bottom of my chart and fill in the next DES#, the date of the transaction, and show the total balance. I'm not very familiar with VB code so I have been recording my macros so far simply by recording my actions but I haven't had the result I wanted this time. I've uploaded my progress so far if that helps anyone. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me out!

Forget the macro, just use Excel's Table LIST feature. I've activated the LIST on your data set. If you simply type in the next number you want in column C, the entire row will expand and bring down the formulas from the row above, very nice.

    Check it out.

I appreciate your help but I have to do it using macros. This is a school assignment that I'm stuck on and it requires I use macros.
