Macro to find empty cells in a range and repalce with the value of a populated cell

Hi,


My 1st post here so before anything else thanks for your advice and help here.


What I am trying to do is for a macro to find empty cells in i.e. column E1:E250 and replace it with the date in cell O2 (31/07/2012) which represents the end of reporting period date and changes every month.


Another complication, there might be dates in E1:E250 which are beyond the date in cell O2 i.e (05/08/2012). They too need to be changed to the value in cell O2.


Appreciate your suggestions.
