Average Formula

Hello,

I'm trying to figure a average formula but I'm having no sucess ....

On the attached example ...in cell DD9 you see the following formula ....

=SUMIF(D7:DC9,"Actual",D9:DC9)

this is the only formula that works for me ....

I have tried the following with no luck

=AVERAGE(IF(D7:DC9,"Actual",D9:DC9))

Any help/suggestions are appreciated
