    Macro to import selected data from a master data file

    Hi,

    i need help in developing a macro to automatically import some of the data from a flat worksheet to another (report like) - file attached, based on my selection of the company name (data validation list).

    What is your source sheet? I presume it is “PO sheet data”. Where do you want the data for a particular company for e.g. comp1 to be parked? I presume it is in sheet “validation” after row no. 6.(is it in new sheet)

    On these assumptions I am giving a macro. If your conditionality is different you can modify the macro
    When running the macro an input box will come up asking for the name of the company for e.g comp1. be careful in typing this in spelling.

    First remove the autofitler by clicking data ribbon and click “filter” under “sort and filter”

    Wonderful! Thanks a lot

    However, i was thinking of selecting specific data from PO sheet data and fill it in certain cells on the "Max lead time vs PO del date" sheet. i.e. PO No., PO Issue Date, etc. is it doable?
