    [Solved] Command Button to enter number in other field

    I couldn't get the combo box with a drop down list of errors to work that I posted on a below thread so I tried another route.

    I have a UserForm and I have now added several command buttons to the user form. Each command button represents a type of error an employee may discover.

    There is text written on each command button explaining the error type as well as a number

    I have 2 fields at the bottom of the form and I want them to be able to click up to 2 of the ~20 something command buttons and the error number(s) will display in the fields at the bottom of the form.

    This is what I entered for the first command button for error type #1. But nothing displays in the field box.I called the field boxes at the bottom of the form DisplayBoxCode1 and DisplayBoxCode2. Thanks in advance so very much to the continued help from this site!

    LiLi1;
    I sure hope you are getting an error when your code runs, because it won't run on my computer.

    This should work for you.

    It worked perfectly and has now saved someone many many hours a month from having to manually transfer all of the error codes via paper/excel.

    I can't begin to express my continued thanks to everyone on this site for all the help given to a complete beginner. I have learned so much!
