simplify open & close vba code

why not keep both the workbooks open in that case try this macro

when you use with functions you need not close or open

another advantage is you can park this macro either in book1 or in book2. only condition is that both workbooks open.

Thanks for suggestion, why the book should be closed because it will import data from other places ( access ) and if open can not receive data , I need to import data periodically to compare the data after the data changes ( updated)
because with my code above the process seem not smooth or slow.
and the next function is work only in active workbook
