Many files with different (varying) numbers of rows to master...

    Hi there,
I have a number of sheets with data in the column range A to AH, some sheets with 10 rows of data, others with more than 30. I have linked a master sheet to collect this info, but as my skills are minimal I have gad to set the master sheet to copy 40 rows of data from esch sheet. Is there any way to copy the data in A to AH for only the rows with data in the A column? it is important that I can do it this way as one day a sheet may have 10 rows used, but 30 the next day - making dealing with the blanks that I currently get a bit of a nightmare!

    Thanks in advance

Are all of these sheets in the same workbook? If so, this macro consolidates all rows in all sheets to one master sheet:If all the sheets are in different workbooks in the same folder:

    Hi there,

Thanks for that. My sheets don't fall into either category though... the sheets to get info from are all in one folder and the master sheet is elsewhere (hidden from view of others).

That would be the Workbooks to 1 sheet. macro. That macro would be installed in your hidden master workbook and draw in all the data from the workbooks in the one folder.
