How do prevent the user from selecting certain worksheets

So i've tried protecting the sheet, but the user can still select it, and can make changes to the macros on that sheet too! How do I prevent the user from selecting the tab at all, until I call it via a macro.

Mind you this solution requires a macro since I need to be able to activate the sheet again based on user selections.

Why not hide it, and lock your VBA project?

So sheetx.hide and sheetx.show? I don't think these work as macros.. what would be the code for this?
