I'm simplifying a monthly report of about 10,000 rows. The date on each sale is listed as ex. 4/8/2010. I would like to transform this to April 2010.
I want to insert a new column next to the DATE column with the name of the months as I showed above.
Here is what I have so far
This code just finds the column where DATE is in, selects the entire thing and inserts a new column next to it. Now I want to put the month Names depending on Date in new col. ex. (5/8/2010 = MAY 2010, 6/2/2010= JUNE 2010, 8/2/2010 = AUGUST 2010, etc)Sub Date_Change() Dim rngData As Range Dim rngDatechng As Range Set rngDatechng = Rows(1).Find(What:="Date", LookAt:=xlWhole, LookIn:=xlValues) rngConsignee.Offset(0, 1).Select ActiveCell.EntireColumn.Insert
