    RibbonX XML: How can I put in a carriage return or new line within " " marks

    In a screentip I want to separate two paragraphs of text by a empty line.
    To do that I need to add a new line or a couple CRs. How do I do that?

    Example:
    screentip="Hi, how are you doing. Thank you I am fine."

    The above line gives me:
    Hi, how are you doing. Thank you I am fine.

    What I want is:
    Hi, how are you doing.

    Thank you I am fine.

    I don't use XL2007, but this should work.
    screentip = "Hi, how are you doing?" & char(13) & char(13) & "Thank you, I am find."
    char(13) = carriage return
    char(10) = line feed (if 13 doesn't work by itself then put both in)

    I tried that. It does not work with Excel 2007.

    Where are you using the screen tip- actually in the Ribbon?
    Hope that helps.

    The below is not working. Not working means the customUI is not showing up in the Excel Ribbon.

    Screentips, like normal tooltips, do not handle multiple lines.

    The Supertip does though. In order to force a new line use

    Hi, how are you doing? &# 13;Thank you, I am find.
    Due to the board reading and actioning the syntax you will need to remove the space between # and 13;
    Cheers
