Macro - Scan Sheet For Value and Input

    Overview:
I have a very large workbook filled with poorly organized data.

    Goal:

    1) I would like help creating a macro that would browse all sheets within the workbook (with various names) and search for two values within the sheet.

e.g. June 2010 and December 2010 (of any day)

    2) In sheet one I would like inputed the exact value from the cell that contains June 2010 and December 2010 in all work books that have been searched.

e.g., in sheet "er1" macro has found cell with June 2010 and December 2010. It will then input the exact value of that cell in Sheet 1. 12th June 2010 and 31st December 2010

    3) Lastly, using the cell found in the intial search macro I would like to use that as a reference and take the number which is 1 cell to the right and 2 cells down.

Would this be possible? I am totally lost in determining how to do this

Re: Macro - Scan Sheet For Value and Input URGENT!

Everyone's problem is urgent to them, no need to put it in the Title. Nor do you need to add macro to the Title

Your question will be answered if possible & as members have the time. It is free

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
