    Macros disappear when saving workbook in Windows 7

    Hi all -

    I have an Excel spreadsheet with a bunch of macros that I designed with Office 7 on XP. When a coworker saved the file under Windows 7all the macros are gone. Does anyone know what the issues with Windows 7 are and how to address them?

    Hi,

    I suspect your colleague used Excel 2007 and saved the file as just an Excel only .xlsx file and not as a .xlsm file which would have incorporated the macros. There are no 'issues' with Windows 7 in this context as far as I'm aware.
