    Form - Command Button

I have created two forms, both command buttons, that run on a click from the user. These buttons filter and then cancel the filter applied to a table of data I have created. I am trying to figure out how to link the buttons to a specific cell on the sheet including the table. I want the user to be able to simply click inside a cell I haver labled as the "filter" and "reset" cells which I want to act as buttons. Is there a way to link the command buttons to these desired cells, or must I create seperate macros and then link those to the cells instead?

    Thanks,

    Kevin

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Hope that helps.

    Re: Form - Command Button

Below is a dummy file I created to replicate my situation. As you can see, I labled the cells in which I want the users to enter their filter criteria and also the ones I want to be rendered as "buttons". The filter term can contain both letters and numbers. The filter should only reference the "Part or Tool Name" column, but should filter the correspoding data accordingly.
