    Finance.yahoo connection?

I'm hoping for a little help here...

I would like to link a cell, say A1 to finance.yahoo.com historical prices page... I see on their website there is a button to download the table into excel, but is there an easy way just to retrieve it without going online? Ideally I could do a few stocks, have the table change ect... I'm also going to be need to be able to do calculations off these values. So maybe have the first sheet where I have the stock and the calculations based on the values that were downloaded, then on a separate sheet have the data from yahoo.finance

Do I have to setup a connection in excel? Isn't there way to do this? I feel like it shouldn't be that hard but can't seem to figure it out.

    Try this:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
This works in some code that I have used. As far as I can tell, it looks for the first Hyperlink and then links to it. So add the Hyperlink in cell A1, and then try the previous macros. In my code, I have this snippet in my Auto_Open Sub.
If you're happy with someone's help, click that little star at the bottom left of their post to give them Reps.
