    auto sort full sheet with multiple tables

    Dear all,

    I'm working on an enormous sheet consisting of 80 identical table (different data). on an other sheet I'm collecting data from the tables with an index function. The problem however is that the data in the tables is sorted large to small. The index function is not working because of that.

    Since I'm not interested in sorting all 80 table by hand. (and this is not the only sheet I have to alter), I'm looking for macro which can do the job automatic.

    The sheet is built as follows:
    15 x 5 tables, each table with a dimension of 14 x 40.

    Already gave it a try by recording a macro, but that was not working. I have attached a part of the sheet, which should clarify a lot.

    I hope somebody can help me

    Where/what is the INDEX formula that is compromised by the the tables being sorted in descending order?

    And it's for 2007 and not 2003 that Dazzle is using.

    it works!.....but you already know that.

    great tnx

    Now this problem is solved my next question, which you maybe can also solve.

    The tables in the attached example are sorted like:
    left -> right:different locations.
    up -> down different speeds

    On the next sheet where I was trying to get the INDEX function working the idea is the following

    Create new tables per location for a given 'wave period' based on speed and direction. It should therefore pick for every 'wave length' a value from the tables up -> down.

    For one location it is easy to create but copying is for other locations is hard.

    I hope this is understandable

    tnx anyway
