How can one get picture dimention before loading ?
imagine i have 30 pictures that i need to be < 1024x768 or < 768x1024

I have another, slightly shorter, function that would return the dimensions as a string (e.g. "800 x 600") but then it's more work to validate the height and width!

just tested it with a file 768x2010 and it doesnt work...
its curious, do you know why ? because it should work...

Your test requires the smaller dimension to be greater than 768, not equal to it, for an error.
