Unhappy Moving data when a match is found

    Evening All

I'm not very experienced with macros even though i think i am.

I have 2 sheets Old and 2009 Sample, in col B i have a job numbers. These job numbers only appear once in Old but more than once in 2009 Sample.

Now i think a macro is the best way to solve my problem but i may be wrong.

What i want is the macro to look in start with the first job number in Old and when it finds a match(which may be more than one) i would like it to copy the information in col R/S/T and copy into S/T/U in 2009 Sample for all matching job numbers

I.E ( Cols that need to be moved and new location)
    Old 2009 Sample
    R/S/T S/T/U
    AB/AC/AD/AE AC/AD/AE/AF
    AM/AN/AO/AP/AR/AS/AT/AU/AV/AW AM/AN/AO/AP/AR/AS/AT/AU/AV/AW

Thanks in advance for your help

Thanks very much Jerry, could i ask you to explain the formula to me or point me in the right diretion to where i can find this out, its a bit above me.

I will have a good look at it in the morning and if this solves my problem i will change the prefix to SOLVED.

    Thanks again

That's a standard INDEX/MATCH formula. Press F1 and readup on INDEX. It's not as complicated as it looks, it's just a long formula.
