    Question Saving a file by referencing a cell with a date and formatting the date to yyyy mm dd

    Hi - I've been trying to make this work for too long now...

    I am trying to save the file in the directory c:\data$\payroll\Net Pay Lists\
    I want to file name to start with the word 'ledger' and then have a date (which is in cell A2) at the end of it formatted to be yyyy mm dd.

    The end result would be something like 'Ledger 2010 08 08'

    I am having trouble getting the macro to format the date it grabs from cell A2 to be yyyy mm dd.

    Here is what I have so far (at the end of my macro):

    What's am I missing? Is reference the 'ThisFile' wrong?
