Comparison Operators for Cells with Strings

I'm trying to do an if statement like;

Please Login or Register  to view this content.

but it doesn't work because it doesn't recognize the "AB". What is the correct function for comparison operators with strings in cells?

That ststement is fine. The cell value must match in case, and not have any leading or trailing blanks for the test to be True.
